I recently bought my first house in Vancouver, Canada. My first plan was to live and to transfer the exemption from property tax to apply. Changed after the purchase, my plan and decided to rent for 2 to the conditions of exemption, lived there, years.One for one year. It's not fair to the tax in place that you know you live there soon to pay, especially in an expensive housing market like Vancouver. I wonder if anyone faced this situation and what can I do to minimize or avoid paying taxes. Your answer will be greatly appreciated.
