How do you configure an Ultra ATA/133 Hard Drive? - ata hard drive cable

I have a Gateway PC back with a Serial ATA hard drive, and I want an old PATA hard drive, 133 add on a PCI card. I installed the card properly (device drivers) of the sample. How to adjust their inclusion as an additional drive (not boot)? I think I need a power cord, a ribbon cable, but I have to jumper as primary slave, or nothing?
